Where Should You Go to Book Your Next Trip

It is coming up on a year since we started the pandemic and the lockdown.  While we stay safe and remain at home, many of us are wondering the same thing: when can we safely travel again?

The overall answer is that we will not be back to normal for a while.  But, as we continue to press forward and fight COVID 19, travel options will open up and let you plan your next vacation.  It might be time to do something grand after being cooped up inside for so long.

For a few ideas, check out these ski locations.  Each of them is simply marvelous, but small and off the main tourist path.  They will be much safer for your visit.

Monterosa Ski, Italy

Monterosa ski is located south of Cervinia across the Aosta Valley.  Backcountry and heli-skiing are some of the main draws in Monterosa.  Here, you will have three skiing villages to choose from when you book your stay: Champoluc, Gressoney, and Alagna.  Each one tends to get the pack on weekends but during the weekday you will more than like be able to find some privacy.

Murren, Switzerland

Whether you are looking to ski or for just a quiet vacation, the elegant village of Murren is where you should go.  Here you have views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.  You also have one of the steepest inclines available to you for skiing.  If you are looking for a challenge, I recommend trying this place out!

Les Carroz, France

Les Carroz is little known, thanks in part to the fact that it is surrounded by some more major ski resorts.  While it might not be so big, Les Carroz is a wooded, more traditional looking area that is perfect for the beauty, and for your wallet.

Alpach, Austria

Alpach has 128 km of slopes for everyone.  Whether you are a novice or an advanced skier, you will find Alpach to your liking.  Even Non-skiers can have fun at the restaurants available, or on the toboggan run.  This area is often found on lists for Austria’s most beautiful and with its design and natural slopes, it is not hard to see why.

Baqueria Beret, Spain

Are you brand new to skiing?  Then this place is perfect!  Are you an expert?  Then this is perfect for you too!  This area has all sorts of slopes to offer!  This area spans across Baqueria, Beret, and Bonaigua and is located on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees.

Le Grand Bornand, France

This area has the expert slopes and the beginner slopes!  It is all here of those who have a group with mixed skill.  And for those who do not prefer to ski at all?  There is something here for them too!

This area has a rustic charm, cheese farms to explore, and it is just an hour away from Geneva.  It is the perfect place for everyone.

These areas and more are great destinations for ski trips!  They are breathtaking, yet they stay away from the crowds which are more important now than ever before.
